Was about 20 - 25 mph when I arrived so I rigged 5.5 but by the time I got to the water the wind had picked up a lot so I changed to 4.5. That was about right to start - hard to get out through the waves but good to ride back in.

Then a big squall went through and I was well overpowered in the heavy rain. The wind then really dropped off when the squall passed leaving me to swim in with the waves. It wasn't enough then for the 5.5 so I packed up.
